In 2022, Sri M visited the UK, offering seekers an opportunity to experience timeless wisdom and yogic insights. His visit included two free public talks—“Wisdom of the Rishis” and “Krishna's Flute, Bhagavad Gita Here & Now”, where he shared profound teachings from the Upanishads and the Gita, making them accessible through stories, humor, and practical insights.
Additionally, a three-day workshop in Slough provided a deep dive into Kriya Yoga, exploring scriptural philosophy, meditation techniques, and the science of consciousness. Through discussions, Q&A sessions, and guided practices, Sri M's UK visit became a transformative experience, blending ancient teachings with contemporary relevance.

[1] July 17, 2022 – Leicester
The Wisdom of the Rishis
Venue: Shree Sanatan Mandir, Leicester
In this talk, Sri M simplified the ancient teachings of the rishis (sages), making them accessible to a wider audience. The session began with the chanting of three shlokas (prayers), followed by an explanation of the Mahavakyas (Great Sayings) from the Upanishads. Sri M then delved into the Bhagavad Gita, blending profound wisdom with stories and humor, making the session enlightening and engaging.
A key focus of the discussion was the rational framework of the Upanishads, highlighting their 11 principal texts and their connection to the Vedas. He also touched upon Bhakti Yoga (Chapter 12 of the Gita) and discussed the 10th and 11th chapters, which emphasize devotion and divine vision. Sri M recommended a structured approach to scriptural reading, particularly the Upanishads, the Gita, and the Bhagavatam.
The session concluded with an insightful Q&A, where Sri M addressed a diverse range of questions. Topics included Maheshwarnath Babaji’s instructions on cooking, the correct approach to Kriya Yoga, the different levels of chanting the Gayatri mantra. He also shared advice on making spiritual teachings relevant to young people and whether experiences alone can lead to wisdom.
This satsang provided a bridge between ancient wisdom and modern understanding, offering practical insights for spiritual seekers of all backgrounds.

Talk on Krishna's Flute, Bhagavad Gita Here & Now
Venue: The Nehru Centre, London
Sri M's 2022 public talk at the Nehru Centre focused on the essence of the Bhagavad Gita and its relevance to spiritual seekers. He explained that while the Gita contained the profound wisdom of the Upanishads, it remained accessible to those on the spiritual path. He also explored the symbolic connection between Krishna, his flute, and the divine nature of music.
A key part of the talk was Chapter 12 – Bhakti Yoga, where Sri M elaborated on the qualities of an ideal devotee and the importance of devotion in spiritual growth. He emphasized that Bhakti offered a deep yet practical path, making spirituality more personal and experiential.
The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where Sri M addressed questions on topics such as karma, the coexistence of science and spirituality, the caste system, love in the Gita, and whether the Kurukshetra war should be seen as a real event or a metaphor. He also shared personal anecdotes, including memorable moments with his Guru, Maheshwarnath Babaji.
This insightful talk helped bridge ancient wisdom with modern understanding, encouraging seekers to apply the Gita's teachings in their daily lives.

A 3-day Workshop
Venue: Slough
The three-day workshop with Sri M offered an in-depth exploration of spiritual wisdom, yogic philosophy, and the practice of Kriya Yoga. Through four engaging sessions, participants gained insights into ancient scriptures, consciousness, and meditation techniques.
Sri M introduced the concept of Poornata (inner completeness), explained the Mandukya Upanishad and Aum, and laid the foundation for Kriya Yoga through stories and analogies. He addressed meditation, chakras, karma, and the Guru-disciple relationship in a dedicated Q&A session. Further discussions contrasted Newtonian and Quantum Physics, highlighting the observer’s role in consciousness, the Ishavasya Upanishad, and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras as tools for mental stillness. The workshop concluded with teachings on breath control, chakras, prana, and the eight limbs of Ashtanga Yoga, providing a holistic spiritual experience.
