Enter into the profound wisdom of the Ashtavakra Gita, one of the great texts of the non-dual tradition, through the illuminating perspective of the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi.

Presented as a dialogue between the sage Ashtavakra and King Janaka, the Ashtavakra Gita points directly towards the nature of the Self and explores some of the deepest questions of spiritual life: Who am I? What is freedom? What creates bondage? What remains when identification with the body, mind, and personality falls away?

Its teaching is direct and uncompromising. Rather than approaching spiritual freedom as something to be attained in the distant future, the text repeatedly invites the seeker to recognise the ever-present nature of pure awareness.

In this immersive two-day workshop, Sri M will explore selected teachings from the Ashtavakra Gita in the light of Sri Ramana Maharshi, whose simple yet profound approach to Self-enquiry directs the seeker inward towards the fundamental root of one's awareness:

Who am I ?

Through Sri M's practical and accessible explanations, participants will explore how the teachings of these great sages can move beyond philosophical understanding and become a living enquiry into the nature of consciousness, identity, attachment, freedom, and the Self.

The workshop will include spiritual discourses, contemplative practices, meditation, periods of inner reflection, and interactive question-and-answer sessions with Sri M, allowing participants to engage with these teachings both intellectually and experientially.

Rather than accumulating more concepts about spirituality, the teachings invite us to turn our attention towards the one who experiences, to examine the sense of “I”, observe the movements of the mind, and discover the stillness that lies beneath thought.

Join us for two days of profound enquiry and contemplation as Sri M explores the timeless wisdom of the Ashtavakra Gita through the light of Sri Ramana Maharshi's teachings.
