Journey into the timeless wisdom of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras through the illuminating insights of Yoga Sudhakara, the profound commentary of the great yogi and Advaitic sage Sri Sadasiva Brahmendra.
The Yoga Sutras of Maharishi Patanjali remain one of the foundational texts of the yogic tradition, presenting a systematic path towards mastery of the mind, inner stillness, self-awareness, and ultimately the direct experience of one’s true nature.
The Yoga Sudhakara provides profound depth to traditional yoga teachings, offering clear guidance on the mind, dispassion, spiritual discipline, and meditation on the path to ultimate inner freedom.
Sri Sadasiva Brahmendra achieves this by breaking down Patanjali's condensed aphorisms using simple language and precise, strong logical reasoning. By doing so, he masterfully harmonises the practical mechanics of classical yoga with the non-dual realisations of Advaita Vedanta philosophy.
Over three immersive days, Sri M will guide participants through selected teachings of the Yoga Sutras in the light of Yoga Sudhakara, bringing these ancient principles into a language that is practical, accessible, and relevant to contemporary life.
Drawing upon his own spiritual journey and decades of experience in the yogic tradition, Sri M will explore how the teachings of Patanjali can move beyond philosophical study and become a living practice — helping the seeker cultivate awareness, discipline, tranquillity, clarity, and a deeper understanding of the Self.
The workshop will combine spiritual discourse, contemplation, meditation, practical yogic disciplines, and Kriya Yoga, allowing participants to approach the teachings not merely intellectually, but through sincere personal practice.
A significant part of this three-day programme will be Kriya Yoga initiation by Sri M, through which participants will be introduced to a structured spiritual practice intended for regular daily sadhana.
Whether you are approaching the Yoga Sutras for the first time or have studied and practised Yoga for many years, this workshop offers a valuable opportunity to explore Patanjali’s teachings through the profound perspective of Sri Sadasiva Brahmendra and the practical guidance of Sri M.
Join us for three days of study, contemplation, Kriya Yoga, and inner exploration as we journey deeper into the timeless science of Yoga.
